For the past 26 years, I lived in a seaport city which is old but friendly, charming and rich in traditional culture. To record the beautiful moments of the city, I took a huge number of photos in 7 years and picked up the best 40 of them to publish a photo book.

 

        In this book, there are different stories which belong to each picture and describe the local life in this city. Not only the connection between people, these photos also express the relationship between people and animals, city and even the natural environment.

       

       To discover some deep connection which are covered by the normal life, there are many cultural elements and symbols in this book and both the colour and photography style are related to the public impression of this seaport city which can make people feeling like they are in arms of the city.
