We were given a brief by Colophon Foundry. They are a award-winning type foundry based in London.

The way I decided to answer this brief was to highlight the special characters of the latin alphabet. The reason is that the typeface Lydia has an extensive library of special characters that enables users with other languages to use it effortlessly.

How I highlighted them was through a poetry collection that celebrates language, writers and Lydia.

This project was shortlisted by Colophon Foundry in the category production. Colophon said “We felt the production values of these project were very high”.
